It's three lads from Perthshire who grew up together, each with their own specialism — Ross on exterior cleans and driveways, Dan on roofs and solar panels, Joe on gardens and grounds. We back each other up on every job, but you always get the right person leading the work. That's how it should be done.

Ross Anderson
I was 14 when I first picked up a pressure washer — washing driveways and patios for neighbours around Dunfermline for a bit of extra cash. Nobody pushed me into it. I just liked the work. There's something about watching years of grime lift off a surface and seeing what was underneath that got under my skin from day one. The money was pocket change, but I was learning a trade without really knowing it. In 2022 I moved to Glenfarg, into my gran's old house where she'd lived for 30 years. Proper roots in a proper community — and that's exactly the kind of place Apex is built to look after.
In my late teens I moved into the motor trade, and I stepped back from exterior cleaning for a few years. That time wasn't wasted. Working in the motor industry taught me a lot about what a genuine professional standard looks like — the attention to detail, the communication with customers, the pride you take in handing something back and knowing the job is right. Those habits have followed me into everything I do with Apex.
At 26, I've launched Apex Exterior Services as a proper, registered company — fully insured, commercial-grade equipment, and a team I trust completely. Dan and Joe have been my mates since school. They've got the same standards I have. We talk straight with customers, we turn up when we say we will, and we don't walk away from a job until it's done to a standard we'd be happy with at our own homes.

Dan
Dan is a solar panel installer by trade, which means when it comes to roofs he's not guessing — he's spent years working up there. He understands ridges, tiles, moss growth patterns, and what a roof actually needs versus what some companies will try to sell you. When Apex takes on a roof clean or solar panel job, Dan leads it. You're getting a tradesman, not a lad with a ladder.
Joe
Joe is the man for gardens, patios, and outdoor spaces. Clearances, tidy-ups, overgrowth, decking — he has an eye for what a space can look like when it's properly sorted. He takes the same approach as the rest of the team: assess it honestly, do it thoroughly, leave it looking sharp. No half measures, no corners cut.
